Entry fees: The entry fee at each of the 16 qualifying tournaments is $60.00 per boat (whether fishing alone or with a partner). Not included in the entry fee is a $5.00 ramp fee.

TOURNAMENT RULES/INFORMATION

Competitors:  Competitors may fish alone or with a partner in the same boat. You do not have to fish with the same partner at all the tournaments.

Safety: All competitors will wear an approved life jacket or vest when the boat’s outboard is running except when the boat is being launched and retrieved.

No Wake Zone: The area from the upriver bridge crossing to the second ditch exiting the river on the left side of the ramps facing the main river is a NO WAKE ZONE. Failure to obey the No Wake Zone rule will result in disqualification for the day’s fishing event. Competitors failing to return within the No Wake Zone before the announced deadline for doing so, will be disqualified and their catch weight for that day will be nullified.

Fish Size: Shall weigh in no more than five largemouth bass, not less than 12” in length.

Weigh-In: When directed to do so by the tournament director or his staff, contestants will bring their catch to the scales in a bag capable for containing the weight of their catch and sufficient water to keep their fish alive. Bringing their catch to the scales by any other method will result is immediate disqualification and the fish will not be weighed.

a. Dead Fish Penalty: 0.25#s will DEDUCTED from total weight for each
dead fish. ie weight 10#s one dead fish makes your recorded wt. 9.75#s...

b. Short Fish Penalty: Weight of that fish and your big fish will not count towards total weight.

Courtesy: During the tournament day all competitors are expected to act in a courteous manner towards others sharing the waters, ramps, and facilities of Bob’s Fishing Hole. Failure to comply with this requirement could result in the offender(s) disqualification.

Tournament Report. As soon as possible following each tournament (usually on Monday or Tuesday) copies of the previous day’s tournament results will be posted at Bob’s. Additionally, sufficient copies will be available should you desire one.

CLASSIC QUALIFICATION

Following the 16th qualifying tournament of October 22, 2017, a Classic will be held on October 28th and 29th at Bob’s Fishing Hole. Participation will be limited to the top 20 fishermen of the series based on their total weight, whether caught while fishing alone or with a partner. There will be no entry fee required (a ramp fee will be required, however.)

Tournament rules!

-5 fish limit - must be at least 12 inches, no more than 5 fish in live well at any one time. No culling at the ramp. If you bring short fish to the scales, it will result in the loss of your largest fish and the short fish. Each dead fish is a 4 oz. penalty (.25 on our scales) example: 10# weight with one dead fish your recorded weight will be 9.75#s...
-Must return to dock and check in with tourney official INSIDE NO WAKE ZONE (even if you leave early, so everyone may be accounted for & no one left on the river) , wear life vest while gas motor is running, obey no wake zone and observe safe boating practices, no fishing between no wake signs, No alcohol during tourney, and NO fishing while not in your boat(exiting your boat to fish elsewhere). If you start with a Partner, you must check in with your partner(emergency exceptions may apply at sole discretion of tourney director.) Must stay 50 yrds. from another fisherman  in the tourney.  Violators of any of the above rules may be disqualified. Any protest must be relayed to tourney official prior to start of weigh in. In the event of a tie, big fish will break the tie, if neither fisherman weighed his BF then coin toss will break the tie. You May enter no later than 30 minutes after official blast off. Must have 5 boats to be called tourney. We will hold the money for less than 5 boats entered, for the people wishing to fish against each other. All fish must be released at weigh in , into the river @ Bobs.
